Being rich in cultural, religious, as well as natural diversity, Nepal offers a lot more to its visitor.  Every year, many tourists visit Nepal to explore its natural, religious, as well as cultural beauty.  This nine-day tour offer you to explore different parts of Nepal from culturally rich Kathmandu valley and its surrounding to naturally rich Chitwan and Pokhara to the religious place in Lumbini.  You will be touring different tourist hubs in Kathmandu valley like Kathmandu and Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Swoyambunathstupa, Pashupatinath temple, as well as Boudhanathstupa.  The main highlights in Chitwan is the massive Chitwan National Park itself where you will be exploring the dense forest packed with varieties of floras and faunas as well as different endangered species of wildlife, jungle safari, and bird watching.  In Pokhara, you will explore around the valley, lakeside, boating, and sunrise from the top of Sarangkot.  You will also be able to get a picturesque view of the mighty Annapurna range.  In Lumbini, you will explore the birthplace of Lord Buddha and monasteries build by different countries.  Overall, you will get a chance to explore different regions here in Nepal in these nine days.

Itinerary

• Day 1 Arrival

  Upon arrival, our representative will pick you up at the airport and upon completing airport duties; you will be transferred to the hotel. You will check in at the hotel and freshen up and rest for a while. After a while, you will be touring around the Kathmandu city as scheduled. You will be visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site Kathmandu Durbar Square where you will see different temples, idols, and old buildings, which were built in centuries ago. We will stroll around the durbar square and see different monuments like Kasthamandap, Hanuman Dhoka Palace, ShivaParbati Temple, idol of KaalBhairab, SwetBhairab, AakashBhairab, KumariGhar, and courtyard of the palace. We will also do some souvenir shopping in the BasantapurDabali. After that, we will go towards the west of the city towards the Swoyambunath Temple. This temple is located about 20 min of drive from durbar square. It is one of the famous places. There are monasteries, temples, big and small stupas, and different other small and big idols of Lord Buddha. Due to the presence of large number of monkeys, this place is also known as “monkey temple.” We will spend some time on the top of this temple and then return to our hotel. • Day 2 Drive to Chitwan

  After breakfast, we will prepare to drive to Chitwan, which is about 160 km, and it will take about 6 hours to reach there. We will drive along the Prithvi Highway, which follows through different towns, markets, and village. Beautiful green hills, roaring rounds of river, distance view of mountains will accompany this drive. After about 6 hours of drive, we will reach Chitwan. We will check in at our hotel and freshen up. We will be staying inside the Chitwan National park and we will do some sightseeing around the local market in the free time. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 3 Chitwan Jungle Safari

  Today, we will spend full day here at the Chitwan. After breakfast, we will prepare for our day activities. In the morning, we will go for an elephant ride. This ride will take you in the core area inside the jungle where we will get a chance to see different animals like one-horn rhino, crocodiles, deer, antelopes, peacocks, and different species of local and migratory birds as well as plants. We will even ride a canoe before starting elephant safari. It is a great way to explore the nature where we will be close to the nature. This elephant safari will be for few hours and will take you inside the deep forest. After that, we will get back to our hotel for lunch. We will rest for few times and then again we will prepare for a nature walk. Our experienced guide will take you for a nature walk inside the forest. We must be careful not to disturb the wild animals and birds. One must be silent and follow the rules of the forest to thoroughly enjoy the natural beauty. You will feel being close to the nature. After that, we will return back to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel

• Day 4 Drive to Lumbini

  After breakfast, we prepare to drive to Lumbini – Birthplace of Lord Buddha. It is about 160 km and it will take about 5 hours to reach there. Upon reaching, we will check in to our hotel and get freshen up. In the afternoon time, we will visit the tourist attraction here. We will visit sacred garden, Ashoka Pillar, Buddhamaya temple, different monasteries built by different countries. This place is considered as one of the sacred place mostly for Buddhist, although people from all around the world visit here each year. One can feel the peace within self while exploring different places here. Different monasteries invite people from all over the world for mediation and to learn Buddhism. After visiting these places, we will return back to our hotel for overnight stay.

• Day 5 Drive to Pokhara

  After breakfast, we will prepare to drive to reach Pokhara. It is about 170 km and it will take about 5 hours to reach. Upon reaching Pokhara, we will check in to our hotel and in the afternoon time, we will stroll around the Lakeside and do boating at Phewa Lake. Pokhara is a gateway to many trekking routes such as Annapurna Base Camp, Annapurna Circuit, Manang, Mustang, etc. so it is famous destination for tourists. Many restaurants and hotels are here which offers wide ranges of cuisines for its visitor. In the free evening time, we will get to taste different foods and enjoy music in the local pubs.

• Day 6 Pokhara Excursion

  Today, we will wake up early for sunrise. We will get up around 4:30 to reach towards the Sarangkot. It will take about 30 minutes to reach. We will enjoy the beautiful sunrise view from the top from where we will also get a beautiful panoramic view of mighty Mt. Macchapuchre. Also, we will have a beautiful view of Pokhara valley. After that, we will return back to our hotel for breakfast. After that, we will again start our today’s tour and will visit Davis Fall, Gupteshwor Cave and Seti gorge. Quite, beautiful, and clean Pokhara has always been a favorite place for the tourist. Different started hotels, pubs, clubs are there serve its guests. Pokhara is also a starting and ending point for different trekking routes. After dinner, we will return back to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel

• Day 7 Drive to Nagarkot

  After breakfast, we will drive back to Nagarkot via Kathmandu. It is about 240 km and will take about 8 hours to reach there. We will drive on the Prithvi Highway and pass through green hills, rivers, waterfalls, markets and towns like Muglin, Damauli, Dumre, Dhading, Naubise, and Bhaktapur. We will have our lunch in between the drive and in about 8 hours to reach Nagarkot. It is a beautiful village near Kathmandu from where we will get a good view of sunrise as well as different mountain ranges like Ganesh Himal, DorjeLakpa, Gaurishankar, Langtang, and many more. In the free afternoon time, we will stroll around villages of Nagarkot. Overnight stay at the hotel

• Day 8 Nagarkot to Kathmandu

  We will wake up early to get a good view of sunrise from the top of the hill. Sunrise view is amazing from the top. We will see many tourists enjoying the sunrise view. After sunrise, we will return back to our hotel and have our breakfast and then drive back to reach Kathmandu. In between, we will stop at the ancient city of Bhaktapur. It is a beautiful old town rich in cultural heritage, art and architecture. We will visit durbar square, Nyatapola temple, and different alleys. Golden Gate, 55-window palace, five-story temple, museums, and pottery square are different places to see. After that, we will drive back to Kathmandu. In the afternoon, we will visit Boudhanathstupa and Pashupatinath temple – an important shrine for Hindu religion. We will spend few hours visiting these places and we will then return back to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel

• Day 9 Departure

  Today is the final day of our tour here in Nepal. After breakfast, our team will escort you back to you airport.
