Trip Details

This 7-day scenic tour of Nepal will take you to different places like Kathmandu, Chitwan, Pokhara, Bhaktapur, and Nagarkot.  This is an easy tour where you will be doing a jungle safari in Chitwan National Park, where you will see dense forest and the habitat of different species of endangered animals like one-horn rhino, tigers, alligators as well as different species of deer, elephants, birds and other vegetation.  You will also be travelling to beautiful city of lake – Pokhara where you will visit places like Davis fall, caves, lakeside, Sarankot from where you will see beautiful sunrise and panoramic view of Annapurna ranges.  Also, you will be spending some time in beautiful city Bhaktapur where you will visit Nyatapol temple, Dattatraya temple, Taleju Temple, Golden gate, 55-window palace, and narrow alleys of old Bhaktapur.  You will also visit the UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kathmandu – Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Baudhanath Temple, Swyambhunath Stupa and stroll around the local tourist markets, enjoying the local cuisines to tingle your taste buds.

Itinerary

• Day 1 Arrival

  Upon arrival, our representative will pick you up at the airport and upon completing airport duties; you will be transferred to the hotel. You will check in at the hotel and freshen up and rest for a while. After a while, you will be touring around the Kathmandu city as scheduled. We will drive you to the west of the city towards the Swoyambunath Temple. This temple is located about 20 min of drive from Thamel, one of the busy tourist destination. We will be climbing a flight of stairs to reach on the top of the stupa. There are monasteries, temples, stupas, and different other small and big idols of Lord Buddha. Due to the presence of large number of monkeys, this place is also known as “monkey temple.” From the top, on a clear day, we can get a good view of the valley and surrounding hills and mountains from the top. There are souvenir stores where you can buy paintings, thankas, garlands, and metal sculptures. We will spend few times here and then return back to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel

• Day 2 Drive to Pokhara. Boating at Phewa Lake

  After breakfast, we will prepare to drive to Pokhara. It is about 200 km and will take about 7 hours to reach. We will drive along the Prithvi Highway which is one of the busy highways here. We will pass through different villages and markets. We will stop at the halfway for break. After that, we will again continue to drive to reach Pokhara – also known as city of lakes. Upon reaching there, we will check in to our hotel and freshen up. Afternoon is a free time, where we will roam around the lakeside and do boating on Phewa Lake. The calm lake, cool wind, and the view of the mountains will definitely be an add-on during boating. We will enjoy the boating for few hours and then wander around the nearby places. We will have our dinner at lakeside and then return to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel

• Day 3 Morning visit to Sarangkot for Sunrise. Pokhara day trip

  Today, we will wake up early for sunrise. We will wake up around 4:30 and drive for about 30 minutes to reach at the top of Sarangkot. We will wait for the sunrise. It is a worth to wake up so early in the morning to see the beautiful sunrise view. You will also get to see the beautiful panoramic view of mighty Mt. Macchapuchre and Annapurna range as well as Pokhara valley. After that, we will return back to our hotel for breakfast. Free time, we will explore different places here. We will visit Davis Fall and Gupteshwor Cave which is towards the south of the city. It is a beautiful place to explore. You can also go to the end of Gupteshwor cave from where you will see the water flowing from Davis fall. After that we will drive to reach Seti gorge – a deep gorge where you will hear the thundering sound of white water flowing. Quite, beautiful, and clean Pokhara has always been a favorite place for the tourist. Different started hotels, pubs, clubs are there to serve its guests. Pokhara is also a starting and ending point for different trekking routes like Annapurna Circute trek, Annapurna Base Camp Trek, Upper Mustang and many more. Free afternoon, exploring and shopping around the city.After dinner, we will return back to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel

• Day 4 Pokhara to Nagarkot

  After breakfast, we will drive back to Nagarkot via Kathmandu. It is about 240 km and will take about 8 hours to reach there. We will pass through green hills, rivers, waterfalls, villages, and towns. We will take the same route from Prithvi Highway to reach Nagarkot. We will have our lunch in between the drive and in about 8 hours,we now reach Nagarkot. It is a beautiful village near Kathmandu located at the top of the hill from where we will get a good view of sunrise as well as different mountain range. In the afternoon time, we will walk around the local villages and enjoy the view. Overnight stay at the hotel

• Day 5 Nagarkot to Kathmandu

  We will wake up early to get the sunrise view from the top of the hill. Sunrise view is amazing from the top. We will see many tourists enjoying the sunrise view. We will wait for the sun to rise and the golden morning. Picturesque mountain ranges can be seen from the hill. After sunrise, we will return back to our hotel and have our breakfast. We will drive back to reach Kathmandu. In between, we will stop at the ancient city of Bhaktapur. It is a beautiful old town rich in cultural heritage, art, and architecture. We will visit durbar square, Nyatapola temple, and narrow alleys of this town. Golden Gate, 55-window palace, five-story temple, museums, and pottery square are different places to see. Few hour spending strolling around this old town, we will drive back to Kathmandu. In the afternoon, after lunch, we will visit Boudhanathstupa– holy places for Buddhist as well as Hindu. Many monasteries and build around this stupa. You will see monks reading chants and praying for the goodwill of the living beings around the world. We will explore this holy place and drive to reach Pashupatinath temple – an important shrine for Hindu religion. In the festivals like Shivaratri and Teej, we will see this place full of devotee. It is also the cremation site for the Hindu people. Visiting different temples in this area, we will spend some time here and return back to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel

• Day 6 Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square. Afternoon free time in Thamel

  After breakfast, we will visit the Kathmandu Durbar Square – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will see different temples, idols, and old buildings, which were built in centuries ago. This will give you the hint on how the royals used to live during their rules. It is also an old palace which used to serve kings and their families. Now, these palaces have been turned as a museum where different artifacts different rulers are displayed. KaalBhairab, Taleju temple, Radha Krishna temple, and KumariGharis the major attraction here. we can also take a short break to eat here in the local place. After that, we will drive towards the south of the city to Patan Durbar Square which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This place is popular for metal works. Krishna Temple, HiranyabarnaMahabihar, Patan Museum are the places where you will see different works of different dynasty. We will spend some time here and then drive back to Thamel where we will do some souvenir shopping in the free time. We will also explore the local market. Back to our hotel for overnight stay

• Day 7 Departure

  Today is the final day of our tour here in Nepal. After breakfast, we will check out of your hotel and our team will drive you back to you airport to connect you with the ongoing flight. If you have some extra time before leaving, you can do some last minute shopping for spices, herbs, pashminas, thankas, and paintings and explore few othernearby local places or eat at the local hotel. With lots of experience and memories to share with your friends and families, we will now depart in hope to seeing you back again for the amazing trip here in Nepal.
